Description

The Bosch Diesel Fuel Injection Pump Pressure Relief Valve is one of the major components of the high-pressure common rail. The RPS Sensor or rail pressure sensor is installed on the high-pressure to monitor the fuel injection pump’s output pressure constantly. The rail pressure sensor transmits this data back to the engine control module or ECM to optimize engine performance. The rail sensor communicates the pressure values serve to regulate the system pressure and controls the injectors. The pressure control valve sets the fuel injection system pressure supplied to the common rail injection system. The pressure regulator or limiting valve will reduce the common rail pressure in case of overload to protect the fuel injection system components injection from damage.
